About this Fellowship
This program provides financial support for university studies (undergraduate and graduate) to women from developing and middle-income countries who, upon obtainment of their degree, intend to work in, or with, a developing country to improve the lives of women and/or children.
Deadlines are typically in September and January, but be sure to check the competition website for the current cycle’s deadline.
Applicants must be a self-identifying woman, at least 25 years old at time of application deadline, already be enrolled as a full-time student, be a national of an eligible developing or middle-income country, and not hold US citizenship or permanent residency (green card) or Canadian citizenship or Canadian landed immigrant status. Applicants must also plan to be enrolled for one full academic semester and plan to graduate no later than two and a half years after the award of the MMEG grant.
Award Value
Awardees can receive up to $15, 000 in grant money.
