NSF: MPS-Ascend External Mentoring (MPS-Ascend EM) NSF 22-524

This solicitation... supports future research leaders in all MPS fields (Astronomical Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Materials Research, Mathematical Sciences) by funding their participation in postdoctoral research environments that will have maximal impact on their future scientific development.

U of SC may participate in up to two proposals as the lead or as a non-lead collaborating organization or as a sub awardee, but only in at most one of these as the lead organization.

Proposals submitted in response to this solicitation should be submitted in accordance with the revised NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) (NSF 22-1)

Your application submission MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a two page abstract via email to Richard White (whitejrw@mailbox.sc.edu) by November 29, 2021.. In addition to the 2-page abstract, you should also submit a biosketch for the PI.

NSF indicates that a Letter of Intent is NOT REQUIRED and a full proposal is due by February 15, 2022.
