Grants awarded under this program are intended to improve research capability through the support of a group of scientists and engineers, including undergraduate students, graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, working on a common scientific theme in one or more EPSCoR jurisdictions. *a strong component of student participation in research is required for all applicants.

Please be sure to review program objectives and expectations provided in the guidelines.

Each institution is limited to one submission per program area listed on page 12 of the guidelines (a. through p.). This limitation is regardless of whether a pre-application or application is for a new or renewal proposal.

Internal Deadline: October 3, 2024 by 5:00 PM ET
Submission Deadline for Pre-Applications (required): October 30, 2024 at 5:00 PM, ET
Pre-Application Response Date: December 11, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET
Submission Deadline for Applications: January 29, 2025, at 11:59 PM, ET

 

Submission Process

Limited submissions MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research.
