NIH: Director's Early Independence Awards (DP5)RFA-RM-14-004The NIH Director’s Early Independence Award Program supports exceptional investigators who wish to pursue independent research directly after completion of their terminal doctoral/research degree or clinical residency, thereby forgoing the traditional post-doctoral training period and accelerating their entry into an independent research career.
USC may only submit two applications in response to this program announcement. Your application submission MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a two page abstract via email to Richard White (whitejrw@mailbox.sc.edu) by November 18, 2014. In addition to the 2-page abstract, you should also submit a biosketch for the PI.
