Kimbel Center
The Kimbel Conference Center consists of a large main room with a podium containing sound and projection controls and lecture style seating for about 60 persons. Ther are two break-out meeting rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, movable chairs and tables, a large fireplace, and a spacious outdoor deck with benches. An elevated walkway connects the lodge with a large screened building (can seat at least 50 persons) and a pier on Kimbel Pond. When not being used for internal programs and activities, the Kimbel Lodge and Pond Shelter can be rented by public and private (not for profit) groups for educational meetings and events. The facilities and setting are excellent for academic retreats, workshops, and small conferences. Please contact the BMFL office (843-904-9024) to discuss compatibility with our mission and availability.
All housing units and the conference center have internet access through a local wireless network.
