Students in the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management (HRSM) participate
in two experiential education courses essential to obtaining their degrees. Practicums are field experiences that allow students to observe and document how working professionals
perform their job responsibilities, while internships take on the characteristics of a real job focusing on independent application of
skills and knowledge in the workplace setting.
These career-related work experiences must be completed entirely. To enroll in the
practicum or internship courses, students must complete the form below.
NOTE: SPTE students will complete this form AFTER they have the internship experience approved by the department. They must then ask
for and receive an override from the department and register for the class separately
from this form.
Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
