Renovation Details
The Taylor House, built in 1908, was renovated in the summer of 2024 to become the Joseph F. Rice School of Law admissions office along with hosting event space and office space for some students of the school. A new elevator and handicap ramp was added, while a new terra cotta roof has been installed.
Earlier work installed a fire sprinkler and alarm system as well as renovations to the heat and air conditioning and electrical systems.
The Boyd Foundation has also donated furniture that was original to the house.
