How to Apply
You'll start by speaking with your undergraduate advisor to discuss whether the program is the right option for you.
You will need to meet the following criteria:
- Minimum GPA of 3.4
- 90 or more overall earned hours from my.sc.edu
You will then complete the Accelerated Bachelor's/Graduate Study Plan through the USC Graduate School and have this signed by all instructors of courses you plan to take utilizing this program in one semester.
You will submit this completed form to your undergraduate advisor.
Research Requirements
In order to complete a Master's degree at USC you will need to complete a thesis requirement with a faculty advisor. This is independant from coursework utilizing the accelerated masters coursework authorization.
Coursework completed through the Accelerated Bachelor's/Graduate Study Plan DOES NOT guarentee admission to the Graduate School for a graduate degree.
We suggest that you explore our faculty's areas of research to identify a graduate advisor before completing your application. Research within a faculty member's lab is essential for earning a graduate degree.
