Biography

Dodie Limberg, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Educational and Developmental Science in the Counselor Education program. She completed her doctoral studies at the University of Central Florida. Dodie has worked as a school counselor and clinical mental health counselor in Florida, Switzerland, and Israel. Dodie has been awarded over $47 million grant dollars to support her research focused on the school counselor’s role and collaboration in STEM career development, supporting students with emotional behavioral disorders, and research identity development. She is an Edwin Herr Fellow which recognizes professionals whose goals focus on career development and international issues in counseling. She currently serves as associate editor for the Professional School Counseling journal and is the past president of the Southern Association for Counselor Education and Supervision.
