Pamela Hite is the Program Coordinator for the Kennedy Pharmacy Innovation Center at the USC College of Pharmacy. She is a Global Certified Career Development Facilitator.
Sylvia Jenkins is the Administrative Assistant for the Kennedy Pharmacy Innovation Center at the USC College of Pharmacy.

Richard Capps is a Master Instructor for the Kennedy Pharmacy Innovation Center Sterile
Compounding Training programs. He has over twenty-five years’ experience in pharmacy
management and has been a Pharmacy Manager with the Greenville Health System since
2000. Richard is a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.
He received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from Mercer University Southern School of Pharmacy
in Atlanta and completed an American Society of Health-system Pharmacy accredited
Pharmacy Practice Residency at Emory University Hospital.
Carl Dunn, R.Ph.
KPIC Master Instructor
Carl Dunn is a Master Instructor for the Kennedy Pharmacy Innovation Center Sterile
Compounding Training programs. He graduated from the University of South Carolina
College of Pharmacy in 1985 with a B.S. in Pharmacy. Of his 30-year pharmacy career,
25 have been focused on hospital pharmacy including work at four major local hospitals
(Dorn VA Medical Center, Prisma Health - Baptist, Orangeburg Regional Medical Center,
Providence Hospital, and Lexington Medical Center).
Katie Olsen, Pharm.D.
KPIC Master Instructor
Katie Olsen is a Master Instructor for the Kennedy Pharmacy Innovation Center Sterile
Compounding Training programs. She received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical
Sciences in 2018, and her Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2020 from the University of South
Carolina with honors. She completed a pharmacy residency at Ascension St. Vincent's
in Birmingham, Alabama, after which she achieved board certification in pharmacotherapy.
Katie has experience in several areas of pharmacy, including hospital, home infusion,
specialty, and currently ambulatory care. She is presently a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist
with MUSC Ambulatory Services in Florence, SC.
George R. Smith, Pharm.D.

George Smith is a Master Instructor for the Kennedy Pharmacy Innovation Center Sterile
Compounding Training programs. He graduated from the University of South Carolina
College of Pharmacy with s B.S. in Pharmacy. He obtained his Doctorate of Pharmacy
from the University of Florida. He has over 30 years for experience in compounding.
He is employed with Prisma Health Systems. He currently serves on the South Carolina
Board of Pharmacy Compounding Committee.
Eric Sparks
KPIC Master Instructor
Eric Sparks is a Master Instructor for the Kennedy Pharmacy Innovation Center Sterile
Compounding Training programs. He is the President of Bio Tech Balancing. Eric is
a United States Air Force veteran and certified metrologist with more than 20 years
of experience in the certification, calibration and quality field. Eric has a vast
knowledge of every aspect of a sterile environment in relation to certification and
air balancing.
Tenissa Ray, CPHT
KPIC Master Instructor
Tenissa Ray has been in pharmacy for over 10 years and received her pharmacy technician certification from Virginia College with honors. She has her B.S. in Health Care Administration from the University of Phoenix. Throughout her pharmacy career, she has acquired knowledge and experience in several aspects of pharmacy such as retail, long-term care, mail order, and currently hospital. Presently, Tenissa is the Competency and Education Pharmacy Technician Supervisor for Prisma Health System.
