Background
Jennifer Baker, Pharm.D., is the director of experiential education and a clinical assistant professor for the College of Pharmacy. She received her doctor of pharmacy from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2002 and is a licensed pharmacist in the state of South Carolina. Baker has been teaching the SC MPJE review for more than ten years and serves as the course coordinator and faculty for the Pharmacy Law and Ethics course.
Prior to joining the faculty, she served as the director of professional affairs for the South Carolina Pharmacy Association from 2003 – 2012, where she taught and planned continuing education for pharmacy professionals and managed the Palmetto Pharmacist Network, which provides care for patients with diabetes enrolled in programs modeled after the Asheville Project in Charleston, Greenville and Spartanburg. She practiced at an independently owned community pharmacy in Columbia for more than five years.
