Background 

Felissa Carter-Moore has worked at the College of Social Work since 2012. In her current position as assistant dean for finance and administration, she oversees the college’s administrative operations including fiscal activities, budget development and planning, and projection and monitoring of expenditures. 

Carter-Moore has more than 25 years of administrative, human resources, finance and grant management experience at the University of South Carolina. She previously worked in administrative and business positions for the Health Sciences program, the College of Pharmacy, TRIO Programs and the Arnold School of Public Health.

Carter-Moore earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from USC. She is a certified financial health counselor and a graduate of the university’s Emerging Leaders Class of 2016.
