While the University of South Carolina grants credit for certain CLEP exams, our minimum score requirements are different from the ACE recommendations. CLEP exams cannot be retaken for passing credit. The CLEP code for the University of South Carolina is 5818.
The new CLEP score requirements for Financial Accounting, Introductory Business Law, Principles of Management, and Principles of Marketing are based on the date the University receives the official score report, not when the exam is completed. For this reason it is recommended that students complete these particular CLEP examinations prior to January 31, 2021.
USC only accepts CLEP score reports directly from College Board in the official paper format via mail delivery. Transcript delivery typically takes 10–14 business days.
