A scholarship awarded to a resident of the five county service area with preference
given to Allendale or Hampton County.
Bilo Scholarship
A full-tuition scholarship awarded to a graduating senior from the five-county service
area based on academic achievement and financial need.
Clarence and Virginia Brabham Memorial Endowed Scholarship
A scholarship awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need, with preference
given to a Bamberg County resident.
Representative James B. and Mrs. Barbara T. Brandt Scholarship

A scholarship awarded on the basis of academic merit to a student from the five-county

Harry Lee Foy, Sr. Memorial Scholarship
A scholarship awarded on the basis of academic merit given to a resident of Barnwell,
Hampton or Bamberg counties with secondary preference to residents of Allendale and
Colleton counties.
The Gillam Family Scholarship
A half-tuition scholarship awarded to a student on the basis of academic merit.
Abe Harris Memorial Scholarship
A scholarship awarded to a resident of Colleton County on the basis of academic merit.

“Luke” Laffitte Endowed Scholarship
A scholarship awarded to a resident of Allendale or Hampton County attending the USC
Salkehatchie Allendale Campus. Carolina Commercial Bank, Allendale; The Exchange Bank,
Estill; and the Palmetto State Bank, Hampton; as well as friends and family, sponsor
this scholarship.

Two or more scholarships awarded to a student from the five-county service area.
Lowcountry Sertoma Club Scholarship
A scholarship given in memory of Lee D. Stabenow, awarded to a resident of Colleton

with preference given to a Bamberg County resident.
Zita Mellon Scholarship
A scholarship awarded to an Allendale County resident with a preference given to Art
or History majors.
Randolph “Buster” Murdaugh Scholarship
A scholarship awarded to a resident of the South Carolina 14th Judicial District on
the basis of academic merit and financial need. Scholarship rotates yearly between
USC Beaufort and USC Salkehatchie.
John and Julia Myers Scholarship
A scholarship awarded with preference given to a resident of Allendale County, majoring
in education.
Butch Phillips Memorial Scholarship
A scholarship awarded to a graduate of Allendale-Fairfax High School.
John and Gale Peek Scholarship
This scholarship has no geographic restrictions but preference is given to a criminal
justice major or a student considering a law enforcement field.
President’s Commencement Scholarship
