At USC Sumter, the college experience is important. With so many opportunities to participate in campus life, our students find that USC Sumter is truly a “home away from home.” This is a great place to start your college experience.
The Carolina Card [pdf] is designed to cover all of your needs as a student. Not only do you use it as your student ID for entrance to events, the library, and other campus buildings, you can also use it for CarolinaCash. You can put money on the card for use in the Bookstore, Fire Ant cafe, Anderson Library, and certain vending machines.
There are plenty of places on campus where students meet to study, socialize, and hang out. Not sure where a building is? You can probably find it on our virtual tour!
The Anderson Library is a great place to connect with other students in your classes and study together, do research, or share notes.
The campus bookstore is located in the Student Union Building. It's your source for textbooks, school supplies, Gamecock clothing, jewelry, license plates, greeting cards, graduation gowns, gifts, and many new items arriving daily. Shop our store online. Pick it up curb side or have it shipped.
Check the Bookstore webpage for information on selling your textbooks and textbook rental returns.
A popular meeting place, the Fire Ant Cafe is located in the Student Union Building.
