Assist with mailings, social media posts, and engagements. Website content, writing articles, taking pictures around campus, paperwork, and help promote events at the bookstore. This position will also serve as an editor/proofreader for the Bantam Gazette.

Assist students with paper writing assignments by using a specific format & under close training & supervision of the English Department.
Student should:
1. Keep scheduled hours as agreed upon by SASC & English Departments.
2. Schedule appointments with students who need writing assistance.
3. Assist students with paper writing assignments.
4. Notify, in writing, the English Professor of the visit.
5. Keep records of visits for assessment.
6. Proficiency with M.L.A. guidelines is required.
7. Must have completed both English 101 and 102 with a grade of “A”.

The laboratory assistant position requires that the worker have some experience in science (at least a high school biology/chemistry course) and a high level of dependability/self-motivation. The duties include lab cleanup (washing dishes, sweeping floors, disposing of trash, etc.), lab preparation/setup, some preparation of solutions dependent on prior experience, and some clerical responsibilities (Xeroxing, filing, etc.). While this position would have many advantages for a student with a science major, the student is only required to have an interest in science and a willingness to learn some specialized techniques (including safety procedures).

The lab assistant will help set up the three biology labs every semester. He/she will also help clean up the lab and the prep rooms. He/she will also assist the instructor in organizing campus-wide events such as blood drives, AIDS Awareness workshops, etc., and assist with research projects when needed.

Be able to provide help in the library through various duties such as light lifting up to 30 lbs., reaching, bending, pushing book carts, etc., as needed. Using the online circulation system, check books and other materials in or out. Assist with inventory of all library materials. Assist patrons in the use of the photocopier, the printer, and the online catalog and computers generally. Perform other duties as needed.
