Biography
Edwina Chen is a Ph.D. candidate in political science at the University of South Carolina. She received her M.A. in Politics (Political Theory) from the University of Essex(U.K.) and a B.A. in Political Science from National Cheng Kung University (Taiwan).
She is interested in LGBTQ+ politics, authoritarian politics, and East Asian Politics. Her dissertation investigates the impact of regime types on LGBTQ rights, same-sex marriage, and voter evaluation of LGBTQ candidates.
