Background

Jodi Robbins is a transplant to Sumter from the Midwest. Jodi grew up in Morton, IL. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English and her Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. After college, Jodi lived in Kirksville, Ottumwa, IA and Iowa City, IA, finally moving to Sumter in 2012. Jodi has worked in the education sector in many different capacities. After graduating, she went to work at Truman State University in the Alumni Office. Moving to Iowa brought her back to the classroom as a substitute teacher until she became a stay-at-home mom for a few years. Jodi went back to teaching in Sumter as a substitute until being recruited to OSP as an English tutor.

Jodi is married to Paul and has a son, Palmer. In her free time she enjoys reading, being outside, spending time with family and traveling.
