Peer Advisors at Lancaster (PALS)

Are you passionate about sharing your USC-Lancaster experience with others? Are you skilled in written and oral communication? Would your friends describe you as having an outgoing personality? Do you have a desire to help others, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in fast-paced circumstances? If you answered yes to any of these questions, becoming a USCL Peer Advisor (also known as P.A.L.) could be in your future!

More About Us

Peer Advisors are an integral part of the USCL campus. They participate in a variety of campus activities from New Student Orientation, to Registration days, and other events. Becoming a PAL is a great way to meet fellow students, establish new friendships, travel to unique areas, and gain meaningful experiences.

Peer Advisors receive a $500.00 tuition stipend for Fall and $500.00 for Spring.  Each PAL will receive extensive professional development and training through various methods such as a 16-week course taught in the Spring semester, off-campus trips, workshops, and more!

If you are interested in becoming a PAL to students on USCL’s campus, you must first complete a Peer Advisor Application.

Applicants must:

·         Be currently enrolled at USCL

·         Have completed at least 12 semester hours by the end of the Fall semester

·         Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0.

2025 Peer Advisor Applications are due December 1, 2024.
