Lancaster County Commission for Higher Education [PDF] (established 1959)

“The Commission shall have as its purpose the encouragement of higher education in Lancaster County and adjacent areas and, more specifically, the establishment in Lancaster County of facilities to offer standard freshman and sophomore college courses, and such other courses as deemed desirable.”

 

Educational Foundation of USC Lancaster [PDF] (established 1963)

The mission of the Educational Foundation of the University of South Carolina Lancaster is to solicit, receive, manage and disburse funds for the advancement of the interests of the University of South Carolina Lancaster.  It will support the Lancaster County Commission for Higher Education and the Administration at the Lancaster Campus.  Foundation funds will be used for student scholarships, faculty development, the building and maintenance of physical facilities on the campus and other needs that may become apparent in the future. 

 

USC Lancaster Board of Visitors [PDF] (established 2008; reorganized 2017)

The Board of Visitors shall assist the Trustees of the Educational Foundation of the University of South Carolina Lancaster and the Campus Dean in the overall advancement of the University of South Carolina Lancaster, and where appropriate, the greater Palmetto College. The Board of Visitors, with thorough information and staff support, will seek to enhance the image of the University of South Carolina Lancaster, Palmetto College, and the greater University of South Carolina system, to encourage alumni participation, invite public and private support, and facilitate internal and external communication.
