TRiO Programs are federally funded by the US Department of Education to assist first generation and low-income Americans complete high school and/or graduate from college then move on to a chosen career to fully participate in their economic and social lives.
TRiO Programs:
Upward Bound serves students in the ninth through twelfth grades.
Opportunity Scholars Program serves college level students.

Program participants are generally first-generation and/or low-income high school students or college students. The Upward Bound Program serves: Andrew Jackson, Buford, and Lancaster High Schools of the Lancaster County School District. The Opportunity Scholars Program participants must be a USC freshmen or sophomore to join.
Yes. The Opportunity Scholars Program provides services to ALL individuals who are first-generation and/or low income college students.
