Dan was in the first class at USC Salkehatchie, Allendale. He retired after serving as Senior Vice President of Business Banking in NC and SC with Wachovia Bank. "Salkehatchie was my anchor, and the only opportunity out of a certain life of continued poverty. That’s not unlike many of the students that the school serves now, I know."
