Background

Born and raised in Elizabeth City, NC. Attended Northeastern High School. Graduated USC Sumter (Aiken Business program) June 2004 with a B.S. in Business Admin. Received Masters of Science in Management with a concentration in Human Resources from Troy University, March 2009.

Joined the USC Sumter staff as Director, USC Sumter Shaw program, July 1, 2009. Prior to joining the staff, served as part-time employee as assistant Director of the USC Sumter Shaw program at various times from 1 Oct 2005 to 19 Dec 2008 which provided the background to hit the ground running day one. Over 26 years of military experience gives an insight into the base education system.

Retired in 2000 from the USAF. During 26 years of active duty traveled to Korea, Iceland (twice), Saudi Arabia, Hawaii, Okinawa Japan, and all over the US.

Wife, Alice, and two sons Jonathan and Kenneth. Lived in the Sumter area over 20 years.
