The University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law is pleased to announce its third annual Estate Planning Conference on October 15-16, 2026 in Columbia, SC. The previous conferences were an outstanding success, and this conference should be even more successful.

The conference offers an outstanding group of nationally renowned speakers, including Sam Donaldson, Mitchell Gans, Steve Baxley, Kevin Barry, Briani Bennett, Doug Benson, Dan Gespass, Steffi Hafen, Victoria Haneman, Brant Hellwig, Jerry Hesch, Maurice Holloway, Christopher Steele, Tom Tietz, Matt Zackon, and Joshua Zimmerman, covering essential and significant issues in estate planning and family and small business planning. Topics will be announced soon; the conference presentations will primarily focus on timely issues of current interest.
The program is expected to be certified by the South Carolina Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization for 13.5 hours of Tax and Estate Planning and Probate specialization credit, including 1.25 hours for ethics. The law school will assist with CLE credit in other states and education credits for other professionals.
