Employment history:

1987 to present: English instructor, University of South Carolina Lancaster. Teach freshman English courses (English 101: Critical Reading and Composition and English 102: Rhetoric and Composition) and a sophomore level survey course (American Literature). Elected as faculty secretary (1997-2000). Elected as faculty chairperson (2004-2006). Served as chairperson of the Library Committee (1996-2003). Serve as chairperson of the Honors Day committee (2000-present). Elected to Instructor's Peer Review Committee (2014-present). Have served on other faculty committees and search committees.

1985-1987: Graduate Assistant, Bob Jones University. Taught English tutorial classes for freshman courses and helped in the lecture classes. Responsible for grading tests and essays and meeting individually with students.
