Background

Megan West is the Employer Specialist in the Career & Professional Development Office at the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law. In this role, she builds relationships with employers and helps connect law students with meaningful career opportunities.

Megan brings a diverse background spanning higher education, communications, and federal criminal defense. Prior to joining the law school, she worked as a Litigation Support Specialist, primarily under the Criminal Justice Act, with legal teams across the country.

Megan is a proud University of South Carolina alumna with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications and a minor in Psychology.
