Background

Dr. Sarah Slone received her Ph.D. in Nursing Science and her DNP from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, a Master of Science in Nursing in Family Nursing Practice from Georgetown University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of South Carolina, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Hypertension, Blood Pressure Measurement, Clinical Trials and Community Based Research at Johns Hopkins University


Teaching

Dr. Slone has previously taught classes on advanced pathophysiology, clinical procedures, evidence-based practice, and ECG interpretation.


Research

Hypertension,Clinical Decisions, Cardiovascular Disease, Prevention, Social Determinants of Health.


Dissemination

Dr. Slone has presented her research at local, regional, national, and international conferences including the American College of Cardiology, World Congress of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions.
