The Graduate School promotes and protects academic excellence and integrity and provides
administrative services to students from admissions to graduation. As standing members
of the Graduate Council, we work with faculty to envision, implement and enforce meaningful
programs, policies, curriculum and standards of graduate work.
With over 6,000 students in graduate programs, The Graduate School serves almost a quarter of the student body at USC Columbia. In our efforts to build
a community of engaged scholars and professionals, we strive to heighten USC’s reputation
as a top-ranked graduate institution, by funding strategic awards, such as recruitment
fellowships and travel grants, and designing collaborative initiatives to enhance
student development like Graduate Student Day.
