The Rule of Law Collaborative at the University of South Carolina is widely recognized as one of the nation’s leading centers for the study of rule of law.
Founded in 2010, the Rule of Law Collaborative (ROLC) at the University of South Carolina
is committed to the development of rule of law as a discipline, the advancement of
research-based applications in the field, and the refinement of policies relating
to rule of law development.
ROLC works globally with donor governments, private foundations, local and international civil society organizations, recipient governments, and multilateral organizations. It designs and delivers innovative, interdisciplinary, world-class training to rule of law practitioners, including synchronous and asynchronous virtual training and gamified training for adults. It implements development projects that apply lessons learned and best practices from international contexts to crucial rule of law issues globally.
